For the safety and protection of every child, it is imperative that each
parent go through the proper sign in and sign out procedures. Regardless
of age or childcare room, every child requires to be checked in and out.
Children within our care will only be given to those parents/guardians
who signed them in, unless advanced notice is prepared. (see attendants
for proper notification procedures)
Childcare Guidelines
- 2 hour maximum stay per child
- Pictured ID & WeeCare Punchcard
must be presented at time of pick up.
- Unhappy children are never forced to
stay in childcare. We will come find parents if any child remains
upset for more than 15 - 20 continuous minutes.
- Personal Items - If bringing personal
items from home (sippy cups, snacks, pacifiers, etc.), we encourage
that you clearly mark these items w/ your child's first and last name.
- Snacks - Parents are welcome to bring snacks and drinks for their children. However, no nuts, snacks containing nuts or nut products can be brought into the childcare facilities. You are welcome to spend time in the Chilcare area to feed your child. For the safety of each child, we ask that any food allergies be reported to Childcare immediately.
- Discipline - If a child exhibits aggressive
behavior toward any other child and inflicts physical harm i.e. biting,
hitting, the parent of the aggressor will be notified to remove that
child for the remainder of the day. The 2nd incident involving
this child will result in a multiple day suspension from childcare privileges
in order to allow time for behavioral modifications. MAFC reserves
the right to suspend or expel a child from childcare services based
on continued behavioral problems. (For a complete list of Childcare
